How to: Customize or change a shortcut icon.
Solution:
Right-click on the shortcut icon to display a pop-up menu. Select 'Properties'. Click the 'Shortcut' tab. Click 'Change Icon...' and select the appropriate icon.
1) Right-click on the shortcut icon to display a pop-up menu.
2) Select 'Properties'.
3) Click the 'Shortcut' tab.
4) Click 'Change Icon...'. (The 'Change Icon' dialog box appears.)
5) Do one of the following:
a) Select an icon from the 'Current icons' list box.
'Change Icon' dialog box
b) If the path of the icon is not known:
1] Click 'Browse...'. (The 'Browse' dialog box appears.)
2] Locate the folder containing the desired icons.
3] Select an icon.
4] Click 'Open'.
6) Click 'OK'.
7) Click 'Apply'.
8) Click 'OK'.
